This website is dedicated in memory of George Henry Manninen (1929-2020). George inherited the cabins from his father and went on to operate them with his wife Ruth for more than 50 years.

The cabins wouldn’t be all they are today without George. His love for this place is forever with us — in the cabins, in the air, in the trees.
