Tammikuu
January, Tammikuu in Finnish, is the season of new beginnings.
I think of flipping the calendar to January as an opportunity. A new year is a blank slate to create, inspire, form new habits, and shed old ones that no longer serve us. It’s a time to reflect on what has passed and plan for the days ahead.
Invent. Experiment. Grow. Take risks. Break rules. Make mistakes. Love big. Have fun.
Rather than making resolutions, many people today choose a word or mantra for the year. A North Star. What is yours? Mine is “with intention.” I want to take in each moment and make an extra effort to align my actions with my values.
Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony. — Mahatma Gandhi
Happy New Year to us all!
