OUR HISTORY // Manninen's Cabins is third-generation family-owned.
Ilmari (Elmer) and Flora Manninen built the cabins in the 1920s-30s and ran the resort for 20 years. Their son, George, purchased the property in the late 1950s with his wife Ruth and they went on to run the resort for more than 55 years, retiring in 2012. Their younger daughter, Christine, is now owner/proprietor.
